25-hydroxyvitamin D3, namely of 25-hydroxycholecalciferol, is a metabolite of vitamin D3 hydroxylated by the liver. 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 is an important form of vitamin D present in the blood circulation. Its main role is to regulate the absorption and metabolism of calcium and phosphorus, especially in the bone health and reproductive performance of livestock.

•      Maintain the blood calcium and phosphorus levels of animals, maintain the normal growth and development of bones, and prevent calcium deficiency diseases；
•        Directly absorbed from the intestine (small intestinal epithelial cell stroma) into the bloodstream, absorption is less affected by intestinal damage compared to D3, and more effectively increases the level of 25-hydroxyD3 in the blood；
•        The direct supplementation of 25-hydroxyD3 bypasses liver transformation, shortens the metabolic process of D3 in the body, accelerates calcium absorption, and more effectively provides the traditional and unique functions of D3.
